Due to all of the recent changes at Facebook the original instructions are a bit dated. Here if a brief overview of the new registration process.
First click the link below to register your MerchantCircle listing URL with your Facebook account.

Once you have registered you MerchantCircle listing, Click the link below to add the MerchantCircle Review Tab to your Facebook page.

Display Your MerchantCircle Reviews, Blogs and Coupons on your Facebook business page. This Facebook Application ONLY accesses your name, the Facebook ID of the Facebook business page bieng registered and the MerchantCircle URL you provide. The only information this application SAVES is the Facebook ID of the business page being registered and the MerchantCircle URL.
To use these applications you must add the app to your Facebook business page by clicking the “Add to my Page” link on the Facebook application wall as seen below circled in red.
Once the application is added to your page, if you do not see the “MerchantCircle Reviews” tab on the left you will need to add the tab to your Facebook page. Go to the Facebook page you added the app to and click “Edit Page” in the upper right.
From there click on the “Apps” link on the left…
Now click the “edit settings” link for the MerchantCircle Review app.
Now in the popup click “add” to add the tab for the app then click “Okay”…
Now Click the “View Page” button in the upper left of the page…
Now click on the “MerchantCircle” Reviews tab on the left…
The first time you view the tab you will be asked to register by clicking on a link. This is so the application can connect your Facebook page to your MerchantCircle listing…
You will be asked for your MerchantCircle URL. You will find this in the address bar of your browser when viewing your MerchantCircle listing. The URL should begin with http://merchantcircle.com and end with your business phone number.
Copy and paste the URL into the registration box and click Register.
That is it. Your MerchantCircle Facebook app is ready to go. Now your Facebook visitors will see your great reviews and see how good you are…
They can click on the Coupons/Promotion tab and see what you have to offer…
Then they can click on the Blog tab and see how much you know by viewing your great blogs giving them all the more reason to like your page…
If you go to any large corporation’s Facebook page for the first time, you will land on a custom landing page… There are all kinds of statistics out there about the importance and benefits of a custom landing page on Facebook, but the fact that Coca Cola, Home Depot and all of the major and most minor corporations including MerchantCircle have one tells me it is very beneficial…
If your business does not have a custom landing page on Facebook, you should and here is one you can use for free… Just edit your wall settings to make the app your default landing landing page…. The only difference the users that have already “liked” your page will see is the tab on the left, they will still land on your wall. But the NEW visitors will land on your reviews… Whether you use this app for your custom landing page or not, it is a great way to add fresh content to you Facebook page!
